Stroud Planning Commission consists of five
members, each appointed for a term of three years. The Planning
Commission is appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City
Council. The Planning Commission has the power to hear and approve
or deny a request for special exception or variance. They futher
have the power to hear requests for rezoning, but the final decision
lies with the Stroud City Council.
Applications for any of the above may be
acquired at Stroud City Hall for a $50.00 filing fee which covers
the cost of advertising in the Stroud American Newspaper.
